Last song syndromes: Tea & Sympathy by Jars of Clay ; Somebody Told me by The Killers.
this post might raised an eyebrow... we'll intentionally not to.everybody's on the sun lately. i have nothing against it. its really good for someone who wants to have more out of what they pay for. for 2 weeks i've been convincing myself to buy a sim. but as far as the advantages i get, i would probably be sticking to my subscriber, which is globe. ok... ok.. maybe i am not really the "mapagsamantala sa pagkakataon" person. some says they want the best of both worlds. lucky for them because they can managed to have two or three mobile phones in their pockets. while me, i really cant. and i hate the way i'll turn off the phone and switch to another sim. lucky for those who are now used to it. some issues i wanted to raise(personal issues):i managed to be Loyal to my subscriber. its a parctice for me actually. since ako yung taong mejo madaling magsawa when im still in high school. and for me, ok naman ang services ever since i got my one and only sim.hhmm.. benifits are good in unlimited, but since i always caught myself to be an extremist. baka may time na lang na puros telebabad na lang ako or ending up disturbing someone in the middle of the night. in other words, i dont want to lose my sense of control towards everything. because i might lose respecting and likewise be inconsiderate. yah! i know, who would have to call at 2am in the morning? but the thing is... control is power. kilala ko sarili ko e.. mahirap ng masobrahan. so iwasan na lang... Lastly, i learned that unlimited is different from unstopable. what kind of service provider would go far to put a service like.. "24/7 unstopable text! unstopable calls!" wow!!!! that would be AMAZING!akala kasi ng iba na pag sinabing unlimited... wala ng katapusan. hehehehe!! some common notions i discovered from anyone who were all amazed by the boom of unlimited texting and calling.i can only afford to buy a load for one sim i have. by the time i am writing this down now, maybe there are thousands of people who would still like to avail this promo. a promo that would end soon and realizes that this strategy was succesful! we cant mess up with free will. its anyone's choice. but i do hope after this phenomenon, people will still have this sense of responsibility, sense of control and sense of loyalty to anything. kung sa maliit na bagay lang e hindi tayo makuntento, what more pa sa ibang bagay? napaka broad? yes... its up to you now what are "those many things" that might affect your sense of what's wrong, good, too much, so much, too little, too late to fix.........
To be a Traveller? or to be a tourist?since summer is on, i would really like to start my invasion in Luzon first. one of my dreams is to travel anywhere across our country! im satisfied for what this country could offer for me to see or to explore! i dont care if there's no snow here. the important part is to be a traveller rather than a tourist in my own country. this would be a road trip.... any one there who wants to join me?Random Question for the week: this is a sequel to ms. russ' question in one of her blog post on "what you want?". since what you want is different to what you need...i am asking you now, what do you need?
my last song synrdome for days... (and still counting..)
the Killers' "mr. brightside"
hhhmm... i really dont want the title to sound like the 1980's hit of ms. sharon cuneta.. oh well.. here it goes..
high school(aquinas school in san juan) is one of my most celebrated chapter in my life. my so called remeniscing-of-my-high-school-scenarios paved way when i watched a play of the students(and the future priests of the country) from a high school seminary in guadalupe last march 5, 2005. the play is shakespear's "macbeth". the problem is... i havent read that before... so mejo kapaan ang ginawa kong pag observe that night. it was quite fine! although there are some sound system problems but you cant expect so much for high schools! besides, they're not professional actors anyway, right? bilib ako sa costume, preparedness and the memorization they've done for the work of shakespear. may mga nakaktawang part na hindi sinasadya but its ok.. ganun talaga.. hehehe.. when the play ended, i smiled, sighed and said... "i really miss high school". i'm really active in such plays in high school like... ibong adarna, noli me tangere and el filibusterismo. from those plays i gained confidence(not the napkin), the eagerness to propell my guitar talents to just a mellow extent and having a sense of artistic view! ahahahah!!! oh boy! and for some reasons while typing this entry, i remembered my experiences as "crispin" in noli me tangere. i would say that's my biggest break as a student. heehee!! though the plays i joined are not the plays were it held in such auditoriums, the part were your teachers and classmates applaud your performance is already an award for me! yes! that award is the hardest to gain... and that is respect.
my high school memories lasted the night after... because yesterday at my band mates home in mandaluyong, we drink for the successful labour of Gayod's wife (its my band mates last name... hehehe.. na sanay na ako sa ganun dahil schoolmate ko siya since grade school). so on with the drinking session... just looking up with these guys made me feel like im in high school again! we talked about the pranks the bullies do, the terror teachers, the teachers we like (yeeekeee!), the prefect of discipline, the pseudo names we all have when teasing are in breaking loose all over the classrooms, the gay classmates who were always there to.. to.. to just be the counter part of the dominican girls(across the street lang kasi namin yung exclusive for girls na school), the experiences we all had in field trips in baguio, manila zoo, ilocos sur& norte, tagaytay, paskuhan ville, ayala museum, planetarium, and laguna, the intramurals, ang walang kamatayang cheating techniques, high school love lifes, canteen foods, starcraft, hair gels, hip hop versus punks, dr martens, ferragamo(or whatever the spelling is), hair styles, beepers, uniform breakings, the tardiness, sex education, the cleaneres for the day, the days were we have to adjust all the classroom clocks just to escape school by 5pm and the never ending miriendas everyday! and oh the... "hiccup!" ooops! lasing na ata kami that time.. hehe.. but we cant blame the time... ang sarap kasing balikan yung past maganda man o pangit, it is something you can never had it again.. because high school is once in a life time moment... (hhmm.. parang bitin yung end line ah? oh well...)heehee!!
....................they deserve a space in my journal................
they are the nastiest human being you've met when they get mad.
they have the most number of crying moments.
kahapon sila yung tinataguyod ng mga kalalakihan, ngayon buong tapang na silang nakatayo para sa kanilang kinabukasan o sa mga bibigyan nila ng pangarap.
they are the sweetest, they can make you fall to your knees
despite they're notion of being misunderstood, being hurt(emotionally, mentally, physically) and accused us for being insensitive, we still love them.
they cared, they sacrificed, they were accused as weak, they touched lives in the most cruelest times in life, they have unspoken words for those who've taken them for granted, they have this self destructive anger when they've been taking advantaged with
they're the ones who gaved you your life... because she is life.
